What’s Happening at PRISM
There’s incredible momentum building here at PRISM LGBTQ+ Community Center! Our social and support groups are officially underway and growing strong, including Queeriosity for teens ages 14–18, Pride Pack for youth ages 10–13, Raising Pride for parents of LGBTQ+ youth (or LGBTQ+ parents themselves), Shared Journeys for partners of trans and nonbinary folx, and a brand-new young adult group for ages 18–25. These spaces are designed to provide connection, support, and empowerment to every part of our community.
Looking ahead, we’re preparing to launch educational workshops, professional development opportunities, and counseling services to meet even more of our community’s needs. We’re also planning fun events like movie nights, game nights, and social gatherings to help build friendships and foster joy. In the coming months, we’ll introduce a PRISM newsletter and an updated website to keep you connected. With so much happening, there are plenty of ways to get involved—through volunteering, participating in programs, or making a donation that directly supports our growth and program expansion. Together, we’re building a safe, affirming, and empowering space for all.

blackandpinkpenpals.org: Black and Pink coordinates a nationwide PenPal program that matches incarcerated LGBTQIA2S+ people and people living with HIV/AIDS with PenPals who correspond, build relationships, and participate in harm reduction and affirmation.
