Adult Learning Community
​Tuesdays at 7pm!

Our Learning Community on Tuesday nights, 7 pm, has been thinking about ways we can deepen our connection to God and to our community during this time of pandemic. Here is our evolving list of suggestions, for both your own nourishment and our community's:

1. Call a FBC friend and get to know them a little better.
2. Invite someone to be a prayer partner with you.
3. Download  free Zoom on your device and invite another to do the same; then connect! (Kristi and Marcia would be happy to help you get started).
4. Give! Just a little or a lot:
     a. To our Interfaith Cluster who is generously providing food for families in our community. They are not  accepting physical donations at this time but your financial gift is needed to feed our community!
    b. To buy computers for Pottstown School students. Each computer costs $350.00. Give one or part of one. Your gift should be sent to Foundation for Pottstown Education, 230 Beech St, Pottstown, PA 19464. 
   c. To buy Redner's and Walmart gift cards for our CCLU families who are mostly single mom's with 2-3 children. Send your check to the church marked CCLU families in the memo line. We will purchase and deliver the gift cards from our church. 
   (all these gifts are for non-profits and tax deductible)

As you pray this week try asking yourself these simple questions:  
1. When today did I have the greatest sense of belonging to myself, others, and God ? Relive that moment. 
2. When did I have the least sense of belonging? 

“Be with whatever you are feeling without trying to change or fix it. Allow the voice of God speak to you through those moments for which you felt least connected. Take deep breaths and let God’s love fill you just as you are.” Join us as we continue to reach inward to God and outward to our community on Tuesday nights at 7 pm. ​
