Advent Wreath Making at the LGBT Center of Greater Reading Dec 3rd 3-6pm at 640 Centre Ave (Reading)
Join us on Dec 3 from 3-6 pm when the LGBT Center welcomes our FBC Pottstown partners for an afternoon of getting to know each other, creating Advent wreaths, and eating together!
Making Advent wreaths is an old tradition, but we're going to bring some new life to it! Normally marking the weeks until Christmas, your Advent wreath can mark whatever new and wonderful thing you are looking forward to in the new year, or simply celebrate the light YOU bring into the world. We'll have all the things you need to be creative: wreaths, greens, pinecones, ribbons and other things for decorating including candles. You just bring your imagination and spirit of playfulness!
After we create we will share a simple meal together admiring our wreaths, lighting our first candles, and appreciating the anticipation of all that is to come!
