You can be part of a very important and needed project during the COVID-19 crisis. Congressman Joe Ciresi, one of our Pottstown Congressional Representatives, has been working on ways to help alleviate the shortage of surgical masks for medical personnel at Pottstown and Phoenixville Hospitals, as well as area nursing homes/facilities.
Joe has shared a video from Forbes.com showing how the masks can be made. If you have a sewing machine and would like to help with this important effort, please contact Dr. Myra Forrest (610-970-1511 or mozartdiesirae@gmail.com). If you have material, please view the video and feel free to start sewing! If you are in need of material to make the masks, please contact Myra Forrest who will contact Joe Ciresi and get material to you.
Please put your finished masks in a clear, plastic bags and label with your name and address so we know who made the masks. They can be placed in one bag, or separated.
Thank you in advance for your assistance with this needed, worthwhile, and important project!
